In an interview with TNAOT News on 8 April 2025, Samphors Vorn, AEA country director, emphasized the significant impact our organization has made in partnership with the Cambodian government. With a total investment of nearly 100 million USD since its inception, AEA has empowered at-risk children – especially those who have dropped out of school or are currently out of the educational system.

Through this investment, we are working tirelessly to give Cambodian children the opportunities they deserve.
We have reached over 1,700 schools nationwide, bringing education, hope, and a chance for success to children who are often overlooked. Samphors Vorn reiterated AEA’s commitment to ensuring that every child in Cambodia has access to quality education, regardless of their background, socio-economic status, or location.
We are not alone in this struggle. We are actively contributing to a collective effort with over 40 national and international partners, including development organizations and NGOs. In close collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, we are actively contributing to key initiatives that aim to strengthen the nation’s education system. By joining forces, we are ensuring that our advocacy for inclusive education reaches all corners of the country.
Together, we’re working to ensure that every Cambodian child has the tools and resources to reach their full potential and fulfill their right to learn.

Our goals are ambitious and our projects are dedicated to improving education at all levels—from early childhood education through primary, secondary education, and professional training. Education is not just about schooling; it is about equipping future generations with the skills and knowledge needed to shape a sustainable society and drive economic growth and equity for years to come.
There’s more: we’re leading initiatives that address education alongside sustainable community development, tourism, environmental protection, and economic growth, with a focus on coastal regions. We are also particularly committed to the inclusion of children with disabilities and those living in remote areas across the country, ensuring they too receive the education they deserve.
Together, with all our partners, we are paving the way for a more equitable future for every child in Cambodia. Let’s stand united and ensure that no child is left behind.
