How long have you been a volunteer with Action Education / Aide et Action, and what do you do?
I’ve been volunteering for about a year and a half. I collect data and enter it into the system — information about school feeding programmes, co-parenting meetings, and technical meetings. I also communicate with school directors and teachers to gather supporting documents. I help with any task requested by my supervisor.

Why do you enjoy working with young children? Why is Early Childhood Education important to you?
I like children. Early Childhood Education is very important — the early years, from 0 to 6, are the foundation for lifelong learning and development.

What have you learned through your volunteer work?
I’ve learnt about problem-solving, communication, time management, and how to use computer programmes like Google Meet, Google Drive, and Excel. I’m more confident and capable now.

Do you think this experience will help you in the future?
Yes, absolutely. I’ve gained knowledge that helps me grow personally and professionally. This experience is valuable for my future career and life.

As a young woman, have you faced challenges? What’s your message to others?
Yes, I’ve faced challenges. I lack work experience and my communication is still limited. But I want to tell other young people, especially young women: Try to learn new things. Believe in yourself. Be your own person.
