Digital Classrooms in Coastal Cambodia

Digital classrooms are about fostering curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving skills that will help Cambodian children thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.

By integrating technology into education, we’re supporting students build digital literacy, access global information, and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges.

Under the CO-SAVED project, co-funded by the EU, Action Education / Aide et Action (AEA) is working to bring the power of technology into classrooms in coastal provinces. One of the schools we support is Koh Sdach Primary School in Koh Kong. The principal and teachers have thanked AEA for the provision of computers and tools for digital learning on its Facebook page.

With the tools they now have, students are learning to navigate the digital age with confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. No longer limited to traditional paper-based learning, the children now have access to a world of knowledge at their fingertips.

A Big Step Forward for Education

This initiative marks a step towards creating equal opportunities for students in coastal areas. By investing in digital education, we are helping students from rural areas prepare for the future — one that will be shaped by technology.

The journey to creating and improving digital classrooms is far from over. As the world of education continues to evolve, we are committed to further supporting these young learners. Every child, regardless of where they are from, deserves the opportunity to strive in the digital age.
